For The Love of Sugar bakery is officially open! For the Love of Sugar is the second retail tenant to open at The Scott at Brush Park, a five-story mixed-use development featuring 199 units and approximately 15,000 square feet of first-floor retail and restaurant space located in Detroit’s Brush Park.  Manal Hussein, founder, and owner of For The Love of Sugar, along with her partner Zack Beydoun invited media, guests, and friends to attend the bakery’s official grand opening.  The chance to explore this new 1,500-square-foot bakery and the many decorative cakes, including a special tiered grand opening cake,  displaying such unique flavors, as Nutella, Fruity Pebbles, and Ferrero Rocher.  Free samples of the cake were handed out to attendees, as well as cookies, brownies and more…

 Manal Hussein, a local entrepreneur who started baking out of her home grew her business into this incredible brick-and-mortar space.  As the second retail establishment within the Scott complex, Broder & Sachse Real Estate, hand-picked Manal as a tenant for The Scott as a further comittment to their dedication to helping build the entreprenuaral spirit in Detroit.
