The 12 Scents of Christmas -Twelve Fragrances to add to your Christmas List.

By Lisa Beard – Contributing Beauty + Style Blogger

It really is the most wonderful time of the year! The holidays filled with family, friends, and fun. There will be songs of cheer, ice skating parties, snowball fights and lots of last minute Christmas shopping. Here, I’ve assembled some of the most sought-after fragrances for the year and believe me; there is one of these on every girl’s list. It doesn’t matter if you are naughty or nice; assumed they’ve been good and get them something from our 12 scents of Christmas list.

Twilly d’ Hermes

Created for the free, bold, unpredictable spirit of young girls, this fragrance burst with lively ginger and sandalwood; then leads to the most enduring, elegant scent of tuberose.

Decadence by Marc Jacobs

This fragrance is sensual, luxurious, and woodsy. Created in the spirit of irreverent glamour, and inspired by a handbag.

Velvet Haze by Byredo

Fresh and invigorating; this oriental woody fragrance made with hibiscus, osmanthus and ambrette musk. The gender-neutral fragrance was inspired by the 1960’s counter-culture.

Woman by Ralph Lauren

“I am the designer of my dreams…”
So says the fragrance that embodies the very essence of power and grace. The scent combines blooming floras and rich, vibrant woods.

Goldea, The Roman Night by Bulgari

A contemporary scent, this is the very first chypre (a perfume made with sandalwood) for Bulgari.
It is reminiscent of the Eternal City in passion and liveliness and is for the woman who stands by her choices.

Tiffany & Co by Tiffany

It has been a long time since Tiffany came up with a new fragrance, and it was worth the wait. The bottle mimics a giant jewel with its base faceted to resemble the 128.54 carat, Tiffany Diamond. It is a sparkling floral that softens into musk.

La Femme Intense by Prada

This fragrance accentuates the unending facets of the Prada female; one woman turns into many. The tuberose is made to pop when ylang-ylang is added; infuse the base with patchouli, and the fragrance intensifies.

Jason Wu by Jason Wu

Jason Wu threw a dinner party to introduce his new fragrance filled with jasmine sambac, pink peppercorn, and bergamot. The bottle was engraved with each guests’ name and served as a place setting.

Bloom by Gucci

Capturing the spirit of modern, genuine and diverse women of Gucci, Bloom is the first for creative director Alessandro Michele. It has sambac jasmine and heady tuberose mixed with woody accents of orris root and the new Rangoon creeper, a vine with red flowers native to India and exclusive to this fragrance.

Girl of Now by Elie Saab

Made to inspire, Girl of Now celebrates women and their accomplishments. Created for the modern woman, it starts with roasted pistachio then travels into orange blossom and melts into tonka bean.

Gabrielle by Chanel

Crafted as an imaginary flower. The four points of light include exotic jasmine, ylang-ylang, sparking orange blossom and grasse tuberose. They all come together in a radiant, sparkling purely feminine fragrance.

Chloe’ Absolu de Parfum by Chloe’

Chloe’ Absolu de Parfum is a stronger version of the original rose scented fragrance, and just in time to celebrate its 10th Anniversary. The notes are damascene rose, rose centifolia absolute, and patchouli essence. Just like anything French, it is luxurious and romantic.
