The buzz is on! with the latest edition to fashion in the “D.” Bird Bee (www.birdbee.com) the newest installation in the famed The Albert at Capital Park apartment complex, is bringing style with a different vibe, bohemian, modern and slightly edgy! Bird Bee’s creator Taylor Bolleber started the business online and then made her passion for fashion widespread by creating pop-up shops around Metro Detroit, now with the opening of her first brick and mortar location taking flight, Taylor is making a bee-line for success!

Bird Bee will open at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 25. The store’s regular hours will be Monday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Sundays 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Broder & Sachse Real Estate (Broder & Sachse), an innovative urban real estate development company, and owner and manager of The Albert at Capitol Park, announced today that Bird Bee, a clothing, and accessories boutique, will officially open to the public this week, followed by a celebratory grand opening event on Thursday, June 1. Richard Broder, CEO of Broder & Sachse, and Taylor Bolleber, owner of Bird Bee, made the announcement.
Bird Bee will open its doors for a soft opening at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 25. The store’s regular hours—Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.—will begin Friday, May 26. The Bird Bee grand opening festivities are slated for Thursday, June 1, from 5-8 p.m., and include a ceremonial ribbon cutting.
“Detroit has always been driven by young entrepreneurs, and Taylor embodies that same spirit through her work with Bird Bee,” Broder said. “We are thrilled to support independent businesses that make these entrepreneurs a permanent part of our community, and we look forward to celebrating Bird Bee’s home in The Albert throughout the next week.”
Refreshments and special discounts will be offered to shoppers throughout the weekend, as well as on June 1. Bird Bee shoppers will receive $10 off a purchase of $50 or more and have a chance to win a $50 gift card if they post a photo of themselves inside Bird Bee to their personal social media page and tag Bird Bee.
“I’m proud of how far Bird Bee has come since I first set up shop online and at pop-ups through Metro Detroit,” Bolleber said. “Opening our first brick-and-mortar store is an exciting step in the evolution of my business, and I’m ecstatic to share the Bird Bee style with Detroiters in our new home.”
