Kurkdjian’s incredible reputation and ability to create the perfect scent started with his first creation “Le Male” for designer Jean Paul Gautier, which was a huge success and has extended to him the invitation to create scents for several top-tier designers and houses – everyone from Burberry (My Burberry) to Yves Saint-Laurent’s Kouros Cologne Sport. For over two decades, Kurkdjian has continued his assent with more than forty creations for designers and houses. In 2009, he introduced his own fragrance house Maison Francis Kurkdjian, creating thirty-three scents for his personal collections. Along the way, Kurkdjian won such notable accolades as the François Coty perfumer (Oct 2001), Cosmetique Magazine’s best perfumer of-the-year (2008), Chevalier of Arts and Letters (July 2008), and Cosmetique Lagazine’s best niche mixte perfume for Aqua Universalis (June 2010), to name a few. Kurkdjian has now added a line of bath and body products to the mix. Check out the wonderful and refreshing scents on your next visit to Neiman Marcus and tell them Haute is… Magazine sent you!
