Local model, actor Armond Rashad scores big in the new reality show “Last Squad Standing” Premiering on Oxygen Tuesday Nov 1, 9/8c

Detroit Model and actor Armond Rashad is making major waves not only as the owner and operator of the hottest new gym in Detroit Jabs Boxing Gym, located in the Eastern Market district but also as the breakout star of the new Oxygen reality challenge fest “Last Squad Standing” the latest entrée into the relationship and team building genre of programs dominating the airwaves today. The show brings together three teams from Detroit, Baltimore, and New Jersey for the ultimate squad-on-squad face-off. Each week they battle against each other in various physical challenges, but when a team loses, they must look within their own ranks to determine who will be up for elimination. The members of the winning crew vote for who stays and who goes. The squad that lasts until the end with the most members standing not only claims the title but also walks away with a grand prize of $100,000 and of course there is the complimentary backstabbing, catfights, and all around drama alongside the team challenges. Since only one person wins the 100 grand!
The Detroit Players
The Detroit team members include Armond, Mike, Charmaine, Nastashia and Nikia who are out to prove that Detroit has what it takes to be winners. Last Squad Standing created and Executive Produced by Lighthearted Entertainment’s Rob LaPlante and Jeff Spangler and hosted by TV star Alesha Reneé. The big kickoff premier happens Tuesday, November 1, 2016, 9e-8c.
