Bobbi Brown at Laurel Park Place
For all of you Bobbi Brown cosmetic fans, there is a new cosmetic counter in Von Mar at Laurel Park Place. It has been less than a year, and already exciting things are happening! I was there on a Saturday and there were two makeup artists giving makeup lessons, not make-overs. What’s the difference: EDUCATION. Bobbi Brown wants you to be “Simply Beautiful” everyday and apply your makeup like a pro. There are 3 classes of makeup lessons:
- The 5-minute lesson allows you to walk up and enhance your beauty relatively quickly.
- The 20-minute lesson is a little more in-depth and gives more application tips to glamorize your look.
- The 45-minute lesson is a personalized makeover, tailored to you.
Aimee, the Bobbi Brown specialist says, “ Our customer is everyone. We cradle our customers in the makeup lessons; we build relationships and trust.” The great thing about it is, you don’t even need an appointment for the 5-minute lesson, but it is advised that you make appointments for the 20 and 45-minute lessons. During my visit, I also met makeup artist Allen, who gave me some great advice and makeup tips. “The Brightening Skin Care Line, I recommend for men. It will help keep their skin healthy looking and cohesive” he says. Allen also told me that the crème blush can also be used as a lip gloss. Who knew? I love it when cosmetics perform double-duty, how FABULOUS!
