Double-Denim Trend is “In” …Again
There was and will always be a time when wearing more than one denim items in the same outfit will be considered a major fashion faux pas. Trends come and go, but now Double Denim once again makes a winning statement in the world of fashion.
Double Denim isn’t merely a casual comfortable option for street-wear; it is a powerful style statement. Denim-on-denim is hot, and we wanted to share with you some of our favorite finds that make a more gritty and down-to-earth statement.
We love Double Denim because it is suitable for all age groups and offers excellent mobility, not restricting body movements in any way and looks fabulous if paired correctly. Wearing the same colored denim from head-to-toe takes a lot of courage, but as you can see in these images, confidence to do the unthinkable is required. It is okay to mix it up a bit by trying different colors and textures, provided that it’s done in good taste.
It used to be a general rule for mixing up denim when pairing with jeans, that the jeans should be darker than the other item of denim in the outfit; but this guy below rocks it like it’s hot. Remember, confidence is key. If you get double denim right, YOU will definitely be the one to watch when it comes to nailing this somewhat tricky trend.
