Think Elegance & Femininity For Spring: Antonio Berardi Spring 2014 Collection
A pop of pink and all things sweet makes Spring a fashionista’s dream.
Antonio Berardi brought it for the London Fashion Week Spring 2014 edition. Romance was a key theme throughout the fascinating spectacle of feminine and romantic designs that swept the runway, delighting on-lookers in every moment.
Berardi is a British fashion designer of Sicilian descent, known especially for his dresses that are “sensual, figure-hugging dresses” and a “striking, classical, dressed-up” style featuring “advanced fabrics and manufacturing techniques”. He has named music, independent film, post-modern art, Catholic symbolism, Italian art and culture, urban street style, lingerie, and the female form as his design influences.
A popular designer among Hollywood celebrities, Berardi has designed what can only be described as works of art for numerous leading ladies. Notable stars such as Jessica Alba, Lily Allen, Victoria Beckham, Kate Beckinsale, Beyoncé Knowles, Kim Cattrall, Monica Cruz, Bryce Dallas Howard, Fergie, Megan Fox, Anna Friel, Ashley Green, Blake Lively, Jennifer Lopez, Eva Mendes, Kylie Minogue, Julianne Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rihanna, Amber Rose, Zoe Saldana, Kerry Washington, Naomi Watts, and Renee Zellweger have all worn Berardi designs.
Pink fashion with splashes of red and white are definitely the top trends for Spring 2014. Pastel pink, as well as other pastels, showed up in several designer collections for Spring, but in our opinion, no one does it better than Antonio Berardi.
