Porsche Design and Hugo Boss — Luxury Lands at Detroit Metropolitan Airport
There’s been an upgrade in the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) McNamara Terminal with two new luxury brands perfectly positioned at the northeast end of Concourse A, as travelers hustle between the ticket counter and outgoing gates – Porsche Design and Hugo Boss.
With a visually captivating interior décor, the showroom totals about 400 square feet, near Gate 65. Hugo Boss carries an assortment of men’s fashion accessories, ready-to-wear apparel and small leather goods. While the Porsche Design section offers luggage, travel bags, designer purses, eyewear, timepieces, active apparel in partnership with Adidas and small leather goods. The boutique is just one of many new improvements being made at the McNamara Terminal, as the airport administration offer more for the growing number of travelers.
The Haute is Magazine team met up with District Manager, Vickie Terry for a tour, and experienced first hand this fashion-friendly oasis. According to Terry, Porsche Design was introduced in the United States to its first ever airport location when the LS Travel retail North America partners’ store opened for business in November, 2013, combining the luxury brand with Hugo Boss. Terry is particularly aware of the prestige the designer boutique brings to DTW. She and her sales team offer exceptional customer service to enhance the international shopping experience. The staff even wears gloves when handling its leather goods while guests make their stylish selections.
“As a long-term partner of Detroit Metro, we support the airport’s vision to provide an outstanding traveler’s experience, and we believe our combined concept is very well positioned to deliver on this promise,” says Vadim Motlik, chief development officer at LS travel retail North America.
With such a beautiful store and large selection, you may want to arrive a little earlier, slow your gait, and stop by and see what’s new at the Porsche Design and Hugo Boss store.
